Celebrate 100 Years of Clean Drinking Water with Contests & Activities

The City of Evanston invites the community to support National Drinking Water Week 2014, May 4th through May 10th, and celebrate water as our most precious natural resource!

To help celebrate National Drinking Water Week, the City is holding a 3rd grade coloring contest and a 6th-8th grade photo contest. This year’s theme is “100 Years of Clean Water.”

Students can honor local water resources, promote tap water, and celebrate the clean, safe, reliable drinking water in Evanston for the last century through their artwork. The deadline for submissions for both contests is Fri., March 21.

Throughout the week, the city will sponsor a series of activities for all ages in honor of National Drinking Water Week. Save the date for these events and keep an eye out for a variety of exciting contests and activities. Get event information and contest details >>>
