The City of Evanston invites residents and business owners to a community meeting on Thursday, June 5, 7 p.m., at the Evanston Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd., to discuss efforts to reduce the environmental impact of plastic shopping bags in Evanston.
The meeting will be an opportunity for community members and stakeholders to review the provisions of the City of Chicago’s plastic bag ordinance and provide feedback to City staff and elected officials.
Parking will be available in the public lot across Bridge St. from the Ecology Center, accessible via McCormick Blvd.
