Oct. 28th Green Drinks – Join CNT President to Talk Parking

  • Does Evanston require too much parking?
  • What does parking have to do with creating a walkable, more sustainable community?

Please join us on October 28 to hear from Scott Bernstein, President and Co-Founder of the Center for Neighborhood Technology.  Scott will talk about the intersection of Transit Oriented Development (TOD), parking requirements, walkability, and inclusionary zoning, which promotes affordable housing near transit.  Scott testified at the recent hearings for the Main/Central development about the evidence for a smaller number of structured parking spaces.
