Self-Guided Tour of Evanston Oaks

As a part of the ongoing celebrations of Oak Awareness Month in Illinois a group of local tree and cycling advocates have created a self-guided tour of 7 native oak trees throughout Evanston. The tour is best done by bicycle but all oaks are also accessible by car or walking. The tour is just over 7 miles long and it begins in Cornelia Lunt Park and ends in Perkins Woods.

Below we have included the tour documents including the map and extended information about each oak.
