Sustain Evanston November Meeting

The City of Evanston Office of Sustainability and Citizens’ Greener Evanston (CGE) are hosting the “Sustain Evanston – Meet & Greet” and would like to invite you to attend. The event will take place on Sat. November 14th from 9:00 – 11:30 AM at the Evanston Ecology Center in the Great Room. There will be light refreshments.

Many of you have attended Sustain Evanston meetings in the past and represent groups and individuals working on environment, sustainability, energy conservation and climate change related issues. The purpose of this meeting is to informally bring people together who are working in these areas to get to know each other and open a dialog that can help us all foster more coordination, communication and cooperation for our mutual goals.

This meeting is free and open to the public. We are sending this Save the Date invitation to a list of individuals and organizations that we know are active and involved but welcome others who are not yet on our list as well. Please feel free to share this letter with others. In the coming weeks we will post an Eventbrite and ask individuals and organizations to register so we know how many tables/chairs to set up. Walk-ins are still welcome.

The meeting will take place in the Great Room at the Evanston Ecology Center, which is located at 2024 McCormick Blvd. in Evanston. If you are with an organization please be prepared to provide a short 2-3 minute update about your organization’s programs and initiatives. There will be an area for organizations to leave promotional material like flyers, business cards…etc.

Please contact sustainability@cityofevanston.org or calling 847-448-8199 with any questions or concerns.
