Sustain Evanston – Meet & Greet Recap

On Saturday, November 14th over 30 local environmental activists and leaders gathered at the Evanston Ecology Center for the fall 2015 Sustain Evanston – Meet & Greet. This event is always free and open to the public. If you were unable to make it to this meeting we encourage you to consider attending one of the meetings in 2016.

Catherine Hurley, Sustainability Manager for the City of Evanston welcomes attendees and introduces speakers

Community members and organizations shared updates on the programs they are working on, new initiatives, opportunities for collaboration and introduced new members to the group. Citizens’ Greener Evanston (CGE) and the City of Evanston Utilities Commission both gave short presentations on new initiatives they are working on.

For those who were not able to attend but are interested in learning more about what organizations were present and what they are working on we have compiled the notes from the meeting along with an attendee list which can be found here: Sustain Evanston Meeting Notes.

Thank you again to all who were able to make it to the meeting and for those who were unable to do so this time, we hope to see you in the future. Keep up the great work!
